Gundam 00 : Epsisode 20 - 25

Ok lets just end this nightmare and move on with the next big show of Sunrise, although I know for all of the time my blogging is just for the sake of my personal satisfaction. Just so you know that I actually finishes this.

All the building ups of the series at the early of the season somewhat pays up in these last few episodes, but everything seems rushed and there are some part that really feels that it was forced into the story. Just so that you don't say I'm a lazy boy, here is a list of death count(named characters) for these episodes:

- Kinue Crossroad
- Lagna Harvey
- Johann Trinity
- Mihael Trinity
- Daryl
- Lockon Stratos (debatable)
- Dr. Moreno
- Lichty
- Christina Sierra
- Halleluyah (just him, not Allelujah)
- Alejandro Corner

I don't really care if I miss anybody, the first season, which I manage to realize only after I watch the last episode, was all but a set up for the second season, hope it will deliver, That's all, are you happy now?

Gundam 00 : Episode 17 to 19

Ok Ok I understand it perfectly, I screw up again, in the CNY holiday and after all the due dates to catch, but now I'll made it up to you so don't complain.

Episode 17

So the two teams met, but the Trinity refuses to reveal much of themselves, in the process, Nena kiss Setsuna, got push away by him, ran to Veda's terminal an do something fishy, but Ian also secretly runs analysis on the Throne. After that the Throne goes on to their mission which involves destroying a MSWAD's base, which kills Prof. Eifman along the way. But Eifman manages to know the true objectives of CB before dead, which he brings with him, as Setsuna questions the Trinity's status as Gundam Meisters.

Episode 18

The Thrones keeps on attacking world military installments, In the process, Nena purposely attack a civillian installment where Louise is on, cause her to loose her left arm and shared an emo moment with Saji(a very well done one too). As Ian brief the Ptolemaios crew about the Thrones' GN Drives are counterfeit, they decided that Veda has been hacked and they will keep their info by themselves. By the way, Kinue found out that the Trinity reports to someone called Ragna and her info seller got killed afterwards. In a Thrones attack, Graham comes out, snatch Eins' saber and slash off it's arm. The Thrones retreat, only to be ambushed by Gundam Exia.

Episode 19

So the battle of Gundams started, Zwei sends out his Fangs but got most of them destroyed by Exia but the last two, which got blow up by Virtue who comes to join the fun, so Exia duel Zwei, and Virtue charges towards Eins and Drei. It purges it's armour to become Gundam Nadleeh, Nadleeh activates the Trial System and deactivate Eins and Drei, when it moves in for the final blow the Trial System deactivated and the Thrones got away. Johann decided that to tell Lockon that Setsuna was with the terrorist group that destroyed his family. Lockon and Setsuna have conversation afterwards, and that solves their issues peacefully. And we got treated by some very boring moment of Saji and Louise before seeing the 3 superpowers men being lead to north pole, where 30 GN-Drives is stored.

Gundam 00 : Episode 16

Still a "nothing much" episode, the outcome are pretty much predicted. The Thrones comes in and save the day for the original Meisters. Still the CB council meeting did gives us a bit of the idea of the organization, which is: VEDA, for now what we know is that no known human is in total control or knowledge of CB. The council need to achieve 100 percent votes to make a decision, some of the decision they can make is relieving the current CB team from their position, but interestingly, they also have no knowledge of the Throne Gundams.

Also the new Throne pilots commented on the failure of the current CB team by being undecisive. And stated that they will not leave their enemies mercy. As it seems that the two Gundam team is going to have a chat next eppy. So that's all for this episode, now I threat you with the image of the Throne Gundams and the Meisters.

Gundam 00 OP 2

Finally found the OP online, I really like it, far better than Daybreak's Bell.

Gundam 00 : Episode 15

Well there isn't anything to say about this episode. Yes! there isn't much, I'm providing free review in this blog you know! That aside, I just list out what is important in the event of this episode:

1) Alliance set up trap

2)Gundam take the bait

3)Alliance ambush(long range bombardment with missiles)

4)Attack go on for more than 15 hours

5)Gundam Meisters tired, Alliance aces comes in

6)Aces capture Gundam

7)Exia saved by Gundam Throne Drei(yes the new Gundam)

8)End

What is interesting is, Throne Drei looks similar to the O Gundam which save Setsuna years ago, hence Setsuna cries out "Gundam" emotionally to the new Gundam. And on a side note, Patrick is the one who capture Virtue, Virtue reveals it's GN Bazooka's Burst Mode, Dynames can ride Kyrios and Ali appears with his MA Agarisa which his Enact attached to.

Gundam 00 : Episode 14

The title of this episode is called "The Morning of Determination" and they mean it, most of this episode is just about setting up for the big battle of the next episode, which involves HRL, AEU and Union joining forces to have a royal rumble with the Gundams. First we got treated with Kinue special report show on Celestial Being, while the politician who watched it commented that it is a waste of time. So he proceed to join the secret meeting with the representatives of the rest of the 3 faction on their big plan, and we get treated to the new OP, with the image of the 3 new Gundams which will becomes the enemies of Celestial Being.

After the OP we see Allelujah and Ian are doing maintenance on the ship in their secret space dock at Lagranga point L1. The rest of the crew are all relaxing themselves on Earth. With Tieria doing some analysis of the result they achieved so far. The rest of the Meisters are alone in their personal place. After that we will see how all the factions are preparing for the showdown and introduction of some new characters to heat up the show. Now I won't be following actual order here instead I will sum up by faction.

First is the Union, Graham got promoted, the anti-Gundam squad is renamed as Overflags and have 12 new elites joining the team with their Flags. But we only got 3 new names and 1 new face, the new names are Josh, Landy and Situa(Just what I heard), and the new face was unnamed, but he do revealed that Graham got a bad record of causing the death of his superior, so maybe we will know more in the future.

Then we got AEU, which hires mercenaries again. This time the name is Garry Beards, which is actually Ali Al Sarshes in disguise, and he will get a new machine. We also get treated with a humorous come back of Patrick, which is punched by his female superior named Katie Manakin, but he finds that Katie is charming so he simply take it.

Back to HRL, interestingly, not new characters. But we do know that Sergei will be involved, and HRL isn't so whole hearted in working with the other factions, the stage will in a desert of HRL's ground and they seems to have a scheme to get the Gundams all for themselves.

So that's basically all the important parts, another point worth mentioning is that Setsuna sneak into Marina's bedroom to ask why the world is so twisted, and Billy leaked the combat plan to Sumeragi just to get a chance to date her, now I'm fine with Billy and Sumeragi, but Setsuna and Marina just don't suits me because I'm in Marina hate club:). Anyway can't wait for the next episodes to see Ali's new machines and how all the Gundams get out of it.

New Opening Song of Gundam 00

The title is Ash Like Snow, by the brilliant green, here is the MV, we'll see whether it is good when episode 14 comes out, well we need to look at the entire OP to judge anyway, not just the song.

Gundam 00 : Episode 13

This episode is the end of the two parter which started at episode 12. I know this is a bit late but I do manage to pull the review don't I? Actually my semester has started so I won't be making the review as long and detail as before so here is a quick one.

This episode is titled "The Return of the Saint", which is our Imam which got kidnapped in the last episode. Basically it is how Celestial Being track down and rescue the kidnapped Massoud Rachmadi, and how they return him to the Azadistan's officials, and how that would end the conflict.

First Setsuna was sent investigating the site where the missiles were launched in the last episode, there he met Graham and Billy which also doing the same investigation, Setsuna acts innocent and Billy buys it, but Graham doubts him and purposely leaked the info Union have to Setsuna, which make Setsuna realize that the culprit was Ali, so he took of to Ali's hideout ( which Setsuna knows since he fought with Ali in the last war ) after informing Lockon.

Setsuna fought Ali at the hideout, he did better this time but still inferior to the experienced Ali. Setsuna only manage to get of becaused he got a more superior MS. But Ali's men are able to runaway with Massoud. But with the help of Hong Long's Kung Fu and Lockon sniping, they managed to rescue Massoud.

Exia comes off and pick up Massoud, unattached all of it's weapons and head to the palace of Azadistan. There it was attacked by the Anf although message has been conveyed that he have Massoud, still, Exia do not fight back but just walk straight to the palace, drop Ali and flies off. Graham in his Flag clenches his fist because there will be political problem if they attacked the Gundam now.

So with Massoud returned the revolutionist and the conservatives of Azadistan will strife towards mutual understandings.

Well the most interesting part in the episode was the fight between Setsuna and Ali. Too bad Graham don't get to action in this episode plus the issues was resolved too easily as everybody seems to predicted this ending a long time ago.

Gundam 00: Episode 12

Ok, before I start just a little request, kindly click on the Google Ads above before you keep on reading. Well we are in episode 12 and allow me a little space to complement that this is the best episode yet, it got a perfect blend of action, politics and character development.

The episode kickstart with a group of men break into a mosque and kidnap the conservative leader of Azadistan, there the conservatives were discussing about rebelling against the reformist of Azadistan who accepted the aid of UN. And we are of to the OP.

After the OP we get a brief background intro of Azadistan and we can see that the riots are starting since the conservatives thinks that the reformists got their leader, so Lockon and Setsuna are on their way to standby.

Scene changed and we can see Graham and the gang are also on their way to Azadistan since Union offer military support to handle the riot(actually they just want the Gundams). At night at the Solar power facility the guards were attacked, by their own men! but no fear, because Dynames got them all from afar, but Ali unleashed a rainstorm of missles and Dynames can't stop them all from hitting, Graham orders his men to go after Ali and he fights the Gundam himself.

Meanwhile we also get to see Exia pawning the rebels at the Capital, Graham received an order to secure the Capital so he was forced to retreat from his fight. But Exia is way of to another city pawning grunts, but no matter how hard Setsuna tries he can't prevent innocents death, which he remarked as "I still can't be Gundam".

Gundam 00: Episode 11

Ok, before I start just a little request, kindly click on the Google Ads above before you keep on reading. Well now it's Episode 11 and Sunrise seems to decided that it is time to dig deep into the character developments. This episode is called "Allelujah" and you know what it means lets get started.

In the prologue, Professor Aifman is discussing the particles emitted by the Gundams, and they seems to figure out the theory behind it, Aifman commented that Aeolia wanted human to explore space in unity, not competing for it.

After the opening we see Tieria blaming Sumeragi for their situations in the last 2 episode and Lockon countered that it is Tieria who make the fatal error of revealing Gundam Nadleeh. back on his bed Allelujah recap his moments with Soma and he is not happy that HRL continues the experiments. After a little struggle and helping words from Halleluyah, he decides to propose the mission to destroy the facility of the experiment.

Sumeragi accepted the proposal and the Gundam Meisters is on their mission again. Allelujah in Kyrios flew in to the facility and ready to attack, but hesitates on killing innocents, with encouragement from Halleluyah he outburst and attacks. after the attack info of the experiments was leaked to the media by Celestial Being.

Well that's just about all of the most important part of the episode the rest minor part are:
-a girl presumably Ming's girlfriend was shown asking Soma to avenge Ming, but all Soma cares about is completing the mission
-Alejandro Corner threatens(well not really)Marina to protect their technicians or Union will stop the aid for Azadistan
-Tieria displays more of his inhuman side with those glowing eyes and he seems to be able to see anyplace in a ship directly in his eyes, a cyborg?!

-Sergei has Soma's babysitter (ok the scientist) arrested for hiding the facts from him.

Well all and all in this episode Allelujah is leaning towards his evil side more, we won't expect to see too much from him for a while.

Gundam 00: Episode 7-10

Ok, before I start just a little request, kindly click on the Google Ads above before you keep on reading. Anyway I'll have short summaries of episode 7 to 10 here so that you won't miss out anything.

Episode 7:

The episode picks up what left behind of episode six Ali was owning Setsuna until Setsuna pissed off and somehow Exia's blade simply gotten stronger, Setsuna tells Ali to open his hatch and Setsuna does so himself, but Lockon come and interfere to force Ali to retreat. Tieria, being the most dedicated Meister, is not happy with Setsuna's actions, and threatens to attack Setsuna should similar situation occurs again, the Meisters continues on their mission and finally AEU surrendered.

Back in their deserted island, the Meisters have some argues over Setsuna's action while they receive reports that there are terrorist threatens Celestial Being to stop whatever they are doing now.

Keypoints:

-Setsuna was mislead by Ali to kill his own family, which makes Setsuna hates him now.
-We know that the Gundam's GN-Drive is extremely costly to built but Tieria still willling to destroy it should the need to protect the Gundam's secret arises
-The terrorist are making random attacks to civilian to force CB to stop.

Episode 8:

This episode is mainly about how the terrorist have affect the society and the Celestial Being's effort to dig them out, and destroy them. And also the meeting of Marina and Setsuna as well as some revelation of Saji's background.

Keypoints:

-Marina was in a moving car while Setsuna was also in a car which moves in the opposite direction as Marina's but guess what, while both of them are speeding, Marina manages to recognize Setsuna's face
-Marina's people destroyed Setsuna's 6 years ago, and Setsuna haven't gone through it. In his angst, he told Marina his Gundam Meister identity
-Saji's parents are dead, and Saji finally realize that world issues will affect him.
-The official intentionally leaked the info of terrorist to CB

Episode 9:

This is a beginning of a 2 parter episode, it is all about Sergei's plans to capture the Gundams. And it actually worked(Sergei got some help from Mr. Luck too), at the end of the episode the battle team of Celestial Being is in very bad situation.

Keypoints:

-we see some interesting military strategies, better see it yourselves
-Gundam Dynames actually misses the targets
-Ptolemaios got no weapon an only relies on GN Field as their ultimate defense
-Saji meets Louise's mother, and she is not happy with him

Episode 10:

The episode picks up what left behind of episode 9, we get to see how our heroes(some regard them as villains), ok Celestial Being got out of the mess with some major character developments.

Keypoints:

-Kyrios was captured, before Halleluyah(Allelujah's split personality) comes out and get Kyrios back and running
-Tieria tries to destroy Kyrios to protect the Gundam's secret, but also gotten into bad positions.
-Gundam Virtue unveils it's second form, Gundam Nadleeh to save the day.
-Halleluyah brutally murdered Ming who rushed in to save Soma, which Halleluyah wanted as sex slave.
-Tieria is not ordinary human, possibly a cyborg
-Sumeragi, Allelujah and Tieria cries in this episode.

Well that's about everything, after you see Gundam playing "God" in all the previous episodes, you get them in tide situation in episode 9 and 10. episode 11 is out though, and I will post as soon as I watch it. For a little reward of reading, here is Gundam Nadleeh.

Gundam 00: Episode 6

Now lets start with this week's episode. We're shown Ali at the mine field where the Gundams has attacked in Episode 2, he commented that Celestial Being are ignorant of others welfare when it comes to their goal of ending all wars, the country would not be able to survive without the mines. Then he get a call for him to get back to HQ, the scene switch to a meeting of AEU, and they decided that they will send their army to Moralia.

Moralia is a fictional country in this anime founded just 23 years ago in AD 2284. It’s located at modern day France’s Mediterranean coast (around Marseille) and surprisingly it is not part of the Advanced European Union(AEU). Although it has just 180 thousand citizens, over four million foreign workers live in the country. This is because the country’s economy is highly dependent on the private military industrial complex. It attracts foreign investments by giving tax breaks to private military companies.

Of the 4000 plus companies in Moralia, a giant conglomerate called PMC Trust owns over 20 percent of them. PMC Trust is a private military contractor which has its own mercenary army and weapons development programmes. Although they are not part of AEU, Moralia and PMC appear to be heavily involved in AEU’s weapons and space elevator development.

After the OP we found out that Allelujah got himself into jail(ok, lock up) inside a paddled cell of the ship due to his heroic deed in the last episode, wondering who is it that he feel in his head, Tieria comes in and declared Allelujah unworthy of becoming a Gundam Meister, Allelujah ask whether he is no longer allowed to pilot Gundam Kyrios, She...err...., he! says he wish to answer "yes" when Sumeragi comes in and she needs the Gundam Meisters for the next mission.

Meanwhile, in the lab of Human Reform League(HRL), Soma was being check but the scientist find that her body is completely normal, but they know that there is a second person of the same kind with Soma that caused her to go mad, and modification will be done to her MS so that she could be combat ready again, Sergei isn't happy with the fact that they disregard the sense of moral completely.

Back to AEU, Queen Marina was turned down very politely her request of technical support for Solar Power, but AEU promised food aid for Azadistan. Back at Setsuna's apartment, Kinue make some extra food and Saji brought it to Setsuna, but Setsuna is about to start his mission so he just move out, but stop at halfway to say "It's a tragedy", Saji answered that he can't believed Celestial Being save them and Setsuna goes "Me too" which make Saji pops a lot of question marks.

Then we got a chat between Billy and Graham about AEU and Moralia, Billy commented that it is just a trap to lure in the Gundams. Far far away in Moralia, the AEU's military have arrived and we get to see Patrick the-super-bragging ace for the first time since episode one. The Celestial Being crew finally arrives on Earth where our young chicks goes on shopping(Although Grace wanted another check on the mission plan), and Sumeragi decided to have a drink. Back on the deserted island the Gundam Meisters meet Ian and he introduces the new equipments for Exia and Dynames.

Inside some sort of bar Billy and Sumeragi meets, they seems to be old friends, Billy mentioned the Anti-Gundam Squad and the special particle the Gundam emitted in their chat, and Sumeragi is aware that the Gundam's secret might no longer be. Billy asked about "that" incident and Sumeragi anwered that she forgets it. Back in Moralia, Ali is given his new custom mobile suit and is promised "wealth for the whole life time" to capture a Gundam.

So the mission is starting and the Celestial Being's crew arrived at LiuMei's place, the Gundam Meisters approaches the mission area and is spotted by Moralia's military, battle commences. All the Gundams spread out and attacks different squadron, and Virtue shoots at Patrick's Enact to make him goes down in a funniest way possible. While all the Gundam easily finishes off all their enemies and goes on to phase 2, Exia is attacked by Ali's unit, Ali comment that the Gundam are a good unit with a lousy pilot, Setsuna recalls that Ali's voice was of someone he knows. And the episodes ends with this cliffhanger.

Well this is finally getting better and better after all the background building of the first four episodes, quite some revealing here. First, we found out that more equipment for the Gundams are developed while Celestial Being carries on with their plan, and Sumeragi and Billy have possibly romantic past, she might just work with Professor Aifman before. Also we get to meet someone from Setsuna's past and he seems like a mercenary to be hired, disregard whether he was a friend or foe with Setsuna in the past because the flashback of Setsuna reveals too little, but for sure he is someone senior to Setsuna, can Setsuna beat this guy? Or more importantly, can Setsuna conquer his fear?

Gundam 00: Episode 5

This episode kicks start with a new report stating the Taribia has returned to the Union of United States, after all the commotion they've caused in episode 4, which wraps up the Taribia scenario, and I think we've seen the last of this fictional country.

Meanwhile, Queen Marina is embarking on a quest to negotiate with a faction(maybe one of Union, Human Reform League or AEU) to transfer solar power to Azadistan, this won't be easy because Azadistan do not participate in the contruction of the solar power elevator(thinking that they can manage themselves with oil).

And Halleluyah!(Oops, I really started to get influenced), we got Saji and Louise on a feel trip at the lower orbit of the solar power elevator, while we skip the boring part(for us, it was fun vacation after all for Saji and Louise), the scene switch to Sergei boarding the elevator with Soma the super soldier, we go Sergei asking Soma the reason she volunteered to be in the super soldier program, Soma states that she is a baby created for the sole purpose, and Sergei isn't happy with the whole idea of nanomachines in human body. On the same ride Allelujah is going for his next mission.

Sergei and Soma quickly board their Tieren mobile suits and head out to space for a test ride, in the halfway, Soma senses Allelujah and goes berserk , Allelujah senses Soma and the split personality named "Halleluyah" comes out and threatens to kill Soma, which makes Soma starts shooting at the elevator, which causes a small block of the lower orbit station to break up, with the people inside!

The block is falling down to earth and Sergei with his ms tries to push it back but his effort was about to goes in vain. But halleluyah! here comes Allelujah with his Gundam Kyrios pushing the block along side with Sergei. While the MS and pushing, Gundam Dynames snipes from Earth to destroy the part where there is no people, making it lighter and possible for Gundam Kyrios to push it away from Earth. Saving the day, with the real rescue team coming afterwards.

It seems that things are starting to heat up with the character development, after all the politics in the past episode. I do not have a fluent writing so if you want to know exactly what happened the exciting way go watch the show: Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
